Local First

The design philosophy of Monolog is "Local First." You can create, edit, and manage your notes anytime, anywhere, even without an internet connection. All notes are saved on your device initially, and only when cross-platform synchronization is enabled and connected to the network will the data be synced via iCloud. This design not only provides data security guarantees but also ensures high app availability.

Data Sync and Privacy

All data is synchronized through iCloud. Your data will only be stored in your own iCloud storage, not on Monolog servers. This means that data is entirely under your control, ensuring data security at all times.

Backup and Recovery

During the process of editing notes, automatic backups are made. In case of any accidental circumstances leading to data not being saved correctly, you can easily recover from the backups.

Export

Monolog offers various document format export options, including txt, markdown, html, and rtf documents. Moreover, if you are a Pro version user, you can enjoy the automatic export feature; every time you modify a note, the system will automatically export the file to your iCloud drive.
